Obituary of Sharon Rolofson

SHARON L. ROLOFSON COLETA- Sharon Rolofson, 69, died early Saturday April 18, 2009 at her home after an illness. Sharon was born October 30, 1939 in Coleta, the daughter of Marvin and Margaret Overholser Carbaugh. She was united in marriage to Gordon R. Rolofson on May 19, 1959 in ConDelane, Idaho, he survives. She was a member of Coleta United Methodist Church. Also surviving are three daughters, Gwen Eads of Milledgeville, Rhonda (Randy) DeJonge of Fenton and Kelly (Mike) McDuffy of Sterling; one sister Judy Childers of Dixon; seven grandchildren Josh Eads, Jessica Eads, Brandon DeJonge, Travis DeJonge, Dylan DeJonge, Chance McDuffy and Cody McDuffy; two great-grandchildren Treyton Hanson and Brayden McDuffy. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Robert Carbaugh. Funeral services will be 11AM Tuesday April 21, 2009 at Coleta United Methodist Church with Reverend Wesley Dickson pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery in Milledgeville. Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:30 to 11AM at the church. A Memorial has been established to Coleta United Methodist Church or Hospice of Rock River Valley.
