Obituary of Carolyn M. White

Rock Falls-Carolyn M. White, 65, of Rock Falls, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was retired from Whiteside County Health Department where she worked as a home health nurse. Carolyn was born February 10, 1950 to Dale R. and Helen L. (Gilbert) Warren. She graduated Rock Falls High in 1968 and from the Sauk Valley Nursing program in 1984. Carolyn married Sidney “Ron” White on November 9, 1968 in Rock Falls, he preceded her in death on November 6, 2011. Carolyn is survived by two daughters Christina Sugars of Petersburg, and Amy White of Rock Falls; one son Brian (Coni Duarte) White of Rock Falls; three grandchildren Sidney White of Rock Falls, Grant Sugars and Heidi Sugars; three brothers, William (Brigitte) Warren, Terry Warren and Gerald Warren all Rock Falls; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both parents, her husband, Ron White; 2 sisters Sharon Warren, and Cheryl Hale; 2 brothers Gary and Greg Warren. Funeral service will be held 10 AM, Saturday August 29, 2015 at Schilling Funeral Home and Cremation, in Sterling, with Dalmus Meeks officiating, from Harvest Time Bible Church. Burial will take place at Coloma Township Cemetery in Rock Falls, following the funeral. Visitation will be Friday August 28, 2015 from 4-7PM at Schilling Funeral Home and Cremation.
