Obituary of Donna S Koster

DONNA S. KOSTER STERLING-Donna S. Koster, 54, died Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at her home. She was employed as an R.N. at KSB Hospital, Dixon. Donna was born June 26, 1961 in Sterling, the daughter of Richard E. and Alice (Freas) Schmitt. She married Steve Koster on February 18, 1984 in Rock Falls. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Rock Falls. Survivors include her husband, Steve of Sterling; her father Richard E. Schmitt of Sterling; one daughter Jacqueline A. Koster of Chicago; two sons, Matthew S. Koster of Pekin and Scott E. Koster of Jackson, TN; and two brothers, Allen R. (Charlotte) Schmitt of St. Charles and Mark E. (Debbie) Schmitt of Sterling. She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice C. Schmitt. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Rock Falls, with the Reverend Vicki Sauter, pastor, officiating and Reverend Rob Kinnear, co-officiating. Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park, Sterling. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Rock Falls and from 9-10 AM, prior to services at the church.
