Berneice N. McFalls, 84, of Sterling went home to be with the Lord Friday, August 12, 2016 surrounded by family members at CGH Medical Center. Berneice was born September 2, 1931 near Morrison the daughter of James and Nellie Hohlen Fellows. She had been employed at Dixon State School in food service and Oliver’s Corner Market before retiring. She enjoyed playing cards at the Moose and Senior Center. She loved working with her hands; flower gardening, cooking, and crocheting. She enjoyed raising chickens and loved her dog, lady. She was preceded in death by her husband Louis McFalls. She attended and was a member of the Cornerstone Family Church in Byron. Survivors include three daughters Gail Jeanblanc, Janice (Frank) Spielman both of Sterling, Linda (David) Temple of Morrison, one daughter in-law Mary Fell of Lincoln, NE.; one son Ronald (Barbara) Fell of Fairfield; two sisters Lorraine Indermill of Georgetown, TX, Carol Bian of Baton Rouge, LA, ; one brother James Fellows of Seneca, MO. two sisters-in-law, Helen Fellows of Sterling and Phyllis (Gerald) Frimodt of Lansing, MI; fourteen grandchildren; thirty four great grandchildren; two great- great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She also was preceded in death by one son Larry Fell and one sister Elizabeth Richmond, two brothers Richard and Walter Fellows. A memorial has been established.
