Obituary of Jackie T. Spencer

Jackie T. “Jack” Spencer, died Sunday, August 14, 2016 at CGH Medical Center. Jackie was born April 27, 1944 in Mexico, Missouri, the son of J. Cullen “Cully” and Betty Irene (Tate) Spencer. Survivors include four daughters, Ann Spencer of Rock Falls, Melissa (Spencer) Dale of Rock Falls, Amelinda O’Bryan of Arvada, CO, and Betty O’Bryan of Lyndon; two sons, Michael Spencer and James Spencer, both of Sterling; two step-children, Lynn Castaneda of Sterling and Robert and (Michelle) Castaneda of Morrison; eighteen grandchildren; Jedidiah Spencer, Jeremiah Spencer, Mitchell Woosley, Jr., Micaiah Clark, Kiyara Spencer, Lexi Walters, Shyenne Spencer, Zach Dale, Rayann Tarbill, Lee Wright, Ron Wright, Kayla Johnson, Cody Robinson, Ashley James, Soren Castaneda, Kalin O’ Bryan, Jaydon O’Bryan, and Rachel Spencer and a longtime friend and neighbor, Terry Warren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Neal Spencer. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, August 18, 2016 at the Schilling Funeral Home and Cremation, Sterling with Dalmus Meeks, officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8PM and from 10-11 AM Thursday at the funeral home, prior to services. A memorial has been established. Condolences may be sent to www.schillingfuneralhome.com.
