EVELYN D. RUSSELL DIXON-Evelyn D. Russell, 77, of Sterling and Morrison, died Saturday August 27, 2016 at her daughter’s home in Dixon. She was employed at GE in Morrison for many years, prior to retirement. Evelyn was born December 20, 1938, the daughter of Virgil and Grace Pascel Mulnix. She married Ronald Russell on April 12, 1968. Prior to retiring she worked at G.E. in Morrison. Survivors include her husband, Ronald of Morrison; two daughters, Cindy (Paul) Mierzwa of Dixon and Dawn McKinney; one grandson, Jedediah (Jennifer) Frederick and two great-grandchildren, Holley and Hunter Frederick; two brothers Donald Mulnix of Morrison and Richard Mulnix of Sterling and one sister Joce Peterson of Morrison. She was preceded in death by on brother Ronald Mulnix. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Schilling Funeral Home and Cremation, Sterling with Reverend Ken Zuithoff, officiating. Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park, Sterling. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established.
