Helen M. Mitchell, 99, died Monday, October, 10, 2016 at Resthave Nursing Home in Morrison.
Helen was born June 27, 1917, in Sterling, the daughter of Herman and Katherine (Deets) Peugh. She married Francis Mitchell on January 22, 1962 in Sterling. He preceded her in death on September 17, 1977.
Survivors include a sister-in-law Betty Peugh of Morrison; several nieces and nephews. Helen was preceded in death by her husband; two brothers Rex Peugh, and Russell Peugh; and a sister-in-law Mary Helen Peugh
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at the Schilling Funeral Home and Cremation, Sterling, with burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery in Sterling. Visitation will be from 10:00AM – 11:00AM, prior to services at the funeral home.
A memorial has been established.
