ZILMA W. NUSBAUM STERLING- Zilma W. Nusbaum, 96, died Friday, October 21, 2016 at CGH Medical Center. Zilma Nusbaum was born on September 13, 1920 in Moberly, MO, the daughter of Gilbert and Lora Habenicht Sears. She married Kenneth L. Knox in 1938 and he preceded her in death in 1963. She then married Wayne S. Nusbaum on October 3, 1965 and he preceded her in death on October 17, 2006. Mrs. Nusbaum was a teller at the Rock Falls National Bank before her retirement. Mrs. Nusbaum was a member of the Rock Falls Christian Church for 67 years. She is survived by four daughters, Peggy (Larry) Scanlan of Lyndon, Diane (Charlie) New of Moline, Barbara (Don) Knapp of Gurnee, and Sue (Jeff) Scott of Rock Falls; three sons, Ronald (Mary Jane) Knox of Rock Falls, Phillip Nusbaum of Eau Claire, WI, and Larry (Myra) Nusbaum of Rock Falls; fourteen grandchildren; forty great-grandchildren; twenty-six great-great-grandchildren; and two great-great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth G. Knox; one sister, Mary Clark; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Schilling Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Durham officiating. Burial will be in Oak Knoll Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Monday evening at the funeral home. A Memorial has been established. Condolences may be sent to www.schillingfuneralhome.com.
