Wilma A. Trouth, 94, died, Thursday, December 1, 2016 at KSB Medical Center. Wilma was born September 16, 1922 in Javer, Germany, the daughter of Anton B. and Ida (Bruns) Koester. She married Robert Lee Trouth on November 30, 1944 in Sterling at Messiah Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on June 24, 1976. Wilma was a homemaker for most of her adult life. Survivors include three daughters, Darlene (Ricky) of Morrison, Bonnie Lee Trouth of Amboy and Sharon Ann (Roger) Lemke of Dekalb; one son, Darell (Debbie) Trouth of Champaign one sister, Irene Ahrens of Rock Falls; one brother, Wesley (Margaret) Koester of Waterman; 7 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Dorthea Helms and one brother in infancy. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Rock Falls with Reverend Daniel Behmlander, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 10-11 AM Tuesday, prior to funeral services. A memorial has been established to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Rock Falls and The Lutheran Hour. Condolences may be sent to www.schillingfuneralhome.com.
