Obituary of Linda D. Chriest

LINDA D. CHRIEST STERLING- Linda D. Chriest, 71, died Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Regency Health Care Center. She was employed at the Steelworkers Credit Union, prior to retirement. Linda was born February 17, 1946 in Sterling, the daughter of Willard and Shirlie (Schultz) Hunter. Survivors include two daughters, Jennifer Ann Chriest of Sterling and Cynthia M. (Jeff) Benzschawel of Madison, WI; one grandson; one brother, Danny (Vicki) Hunter of Tempe, AZ; one niece and one nephew. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Seth Alexander Chriest, her parents and one nephew, Ray Hunter. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation, Sterling with Reverend Solomon Sudhakar PhD, pastor of Rock Falls United Methodist, officiating. Visitation will be from 9-11 AM Saturday, prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to Exceptional Care of Sterling.
