"Born June 12, 1960 Ogallala, Ne. Left us August 5, 2017 Sterling Il. Attended Roosevelt, and Jefferson Elementary then North Platte High School. Played baseball as a youth, loved spending time with friends bowling, Passionate for running, football, fishing and spending time with family and friends. 

Mike and Mary were married in Milwaukee WI. October 31 1990. At this time Mike became a father of John Packard, and later Anthony (Tony) Triplett. 

Mike worked for Sears putting up siding, winning awards while doing so. Mike then moved his family to North Platte Ne Where he worked for Bob Kilham Construction and Tony Hergenrader Siding. Later started his own business "Mike Triplett Construction" Which he continued for several years before moving to Sterling Il. in 2005. Mike worked for G & K construction Co. earning respect for his trade by many home owners through out Sterling and surrounding areas. 

Mike, Mary and Tony bought a house in Sterling, and loved remodeling it making it a home. Mike and Mary traveled through out the United States running marathons and winning medals. Enjoyed going and watching Tony compete in Jiujitsu, becoming a grandfather to Donaven and Patricia during this time.

Mike was diagnosed with Cancer in 2014, fought every step of the way continued doing all he loved not letting anything slow him down. Mike passed away Saturday August 5, 2017 surrounded by family and friends."
