Dianna Heater

Dianna L. Heater, 75, of Sterling passed peacefully on Tuesday July 5, 2022 surrounded by family and love.

Dianna was born October 22, 1946. She was fearless, loved to meet new people, and lived a life full of travel and adventure. She loved reading, and was a talented writer and artist. She loved to dance, listen to music, and watch movies. Her favorite place to visit was the ocean, which she chose as her final place of rest.

Survivors include daughters Josie (Chad) Friel Anderson; Michelle Friel Nusbaum, and one son William “Buck” Humphrey; one brother Dennis (Judi) Friel; six grandchildren.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents John M. Friel and June L. (Hunsburger) Pries, son Jason Heater, and her sister Barbara (Friel) Housenga.

Cremation rites have been entrusted to Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation.
