Mock, 90, died Sunday, March 14, 2010 at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Morrison. Ardetta was born March 21, 1919 in Rock Falls, the daughter of Ludwig and Nellie (Knight) Becker. She married Glen C. Mock on May 31, 1941. He preceded her in death on April 11, 1987. She was a member of Coleta United Methodist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Patricia (Eugene) Johnson, of Sterling; two sons, Gerald (Karen) Mock, of Orangeville, and Eugene Mock, of Sterling; one brother, Mervyn (Ruth) Becker, of Billings, MT; nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Dolores Hoerle and a brother in infancy. Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Schilling Funeral Home with Pastor David Jungnickel of Coleta United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 AM, prior to the service. A memorial has been established. Condolences may be sent to www.schillingfuneralhome.com.
