Audrey A. Ramos

Audrey Anna Ramos born September 30, 1946 in Heyworth, IL to Donald and Alta VanHorn passed away on August 7, 2020 to an extended illness surrounded by her loving family at home. She married Jose Ramos Jr. December 19, 1978 they resided in Sterling for 43 years and had two daughters, Christine Hanna, Heidi (Craig) Steinhagen; six grandchildren, Brandon (Miranda) McKenna, Taylor Rodriguez, Danika (Ryan) Olson, Payton Hanna, Alyssa Mullan, Jordan Mullan; ten beautiful great grandchildren and one more on the way. Also, her fur baby Ty. Audrey enjoyed her family antiques, jewelry, and a love for purses. She was an amazing conversationalist due to her deep interest in a diverse range of subjects ranging from urban legends, ghost stories, Egyptian history, and politics. Audrey devoted her life to her family; she cared deeply for her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers a memorial may be made directly to the family and sent to Schilling Funeral Home and Cremation of Sterling at P.O. box 592 Sterling, IL 61081 to be forwarded to the family. Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services.
