AUDRIEANNE PIERSON ROCK FALLS- Audrieanne Pierson, 82, died Thursday, May 28, 2009 at CGH Medical Center. Mrs. Pierson was born May 10, 1927 in Sterling, the daughter of Paul L. and Vera L. (Dougherty) Ramsey. She married Lester L. Pierson on August 20, 1959 in Rock Falls. He preceded her in death on December 14, 1999. She was an 80 year member of the First Christian Church of Rock Falls. She was a past president of CWF, a longtime member of the Mary Circle, and taught Sunday school for many years. Survivors include two daughters, Dallace (William) Kern of Apopka, FL and Wynne (Jack) Leaf of Rock Falls; one son, Kim (Janice)Pierson of Victoria, TX; one daughter-in-law, Marilyn Pyle of California; one sister, Leatrice Pashon; 5grandchildren Jennifer (Tim Swan) Leaf of Dixon, Rebecca (James) Winn of Lyndon, Kristine (Gary Law) Adams of Morrison, Kim Pierson, and Ryan Pierson of Texas; 4 great-grandchildren Patrick, Sadie-Anne, Sydney, and Gabrielle; and many beloved nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by one son, Paul Pyle, and her parents. Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 3, 2009 at 11AM at the Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling, with the Reverend Ruth Ann Jones, Interim Minister of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of Rock Falls, officiating. Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park. Visitation will be Tuesday June 2, 2009 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to the First Christian Church of Rock Falls.
