Austin Bennecke

STERLING- Austin Leigh Bennecke, 27, of Sterling, died October 27, 2017. Austin was born August 5, 1990 in Sterling, the son of Mark Bennecke and Shelia Bennecke. He was a very talented artist and an avid Oakland Raiders and Chicago Bears fan. Austin was recently employed by Motorola Corp. in Elgin, IL, and resided there as well. Survivors include his mother Shelia Bennecke of Sterling; maternal grandparents Eligh (Irene) Barton; two brothers Mark David (Kateryna) Bennecke of Wheaton, IL, and Jarred Bennecke of Chandler, AZ, and numerous relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Mark Bennecke. The Funeral is 11A.M. Wednesday November 1, 2017, at Harvest Time Bible Church in Rock Falls, with the Reverend Jason Borton officiating. Cremation rites will take place after the funeral. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 31, 2017 from 6PM-8PM at Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation in Sterling.
