Beatrice Wooldridge

BEATRICE M. WOOLDRIDGE DIXON - Beatrice M. Wooldridge, 87, died Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at her home. She was employed as a waitress for many years. Beatrice was born October 14, 1923 in Chadwick, the daughter of Arthur M. and Pearl M. (Queckboerner) Lott, Sr. She married George W. Wooldridge on August 1, 1973 in Lyndon. He preceded her in death on October 13, 2010. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sterling. Survivors include one daughter, Jill (Alvin) Berodt, of Davenport; three sisters, Lillian Doty, of Sterling, Hope Carbaugh, of Lanark, and Rena Mannon, of Prophetstown; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one son, James Diffenbaugh; and four brothers, Windsor, Willard, Arthur, Jr. and Eugene Lott. Memorial service will be at 11AM on Friday, September 9, 2011 at Schilling Funeral Home with Reverend Judith Huseth of St. Paul Lutheran Church, officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11AM prior to the funeral. Cremation rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
