Bethany Erin Dixon

Bethany Erin Dixon, 35, of Dixon, died Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at St. Joseph Medical Center, Joliet.
Bethany was born November 13, 1986 in Dixon, the daughter of Lon Allen and Melinda (Toms) Dixon.
Bethany loved the outdoors, she loved fishing and mushroom hunting, was a sports lover, including baseball, softball and soccer. She loved to laugh and had a contagious smile. She was always the life of the party.She was so kindhearted and it was shown by all the numerous family and friends that loved her tremendously.
Survivors include her father and step-mother, Lon (Amber) Dixon of Dixon; paternal grandparents, Vernon and Susan Dixon of Dixon; brother, Shane (Rachel) Dixon of Clinton, IA; step-brothers, Lance (Taylor Boysen) of Amboy and Dylan Messer of Dixon; aunts, Thelma Roman of Momence, Sherri (Eric) Badertscher of Leaf River and Patrice (Steven) Koch of CA; two uncles, Dave Dixon of Amboy and Lyle Toms of Dixon and numerous cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Melinda Shipman; maternal grandparents, Henry Ozz Toms and Gunhilde Banks and her uncle, Brian Dixon.
Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded.
A memorial has been established.
