STERLING- Beverly J. Albrecht, 77, of Sterling, died Wednesday, April 23, 2014. She was an Elementary School teacher. Mrs. Albrecht was born September 8, 1936, in Dixon, to Harold and Grace (Tracy) Foster. Beverly married Marvin B. Albrecht on August 13, 1960 in Dixon. She was a graduate from Manchester College and earned her Master's at NIU in Special Education. She was a long time member of Rock Falls United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir for many years. She also taught in Sterling and Mendota School Districts, YMCA Pre School, and Sinnissippi Mental Health. Survivors include her husband, Marvin; two sons, Bradley (Jennifer Kelly) Albrecht, of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Brent (Laura) Albrecht, of West Chicago; one daughter, Kimberly (Leonard) Schluns, of Pearland TX; one sister, Carolyn (Raymond) Morgret, of CA; one brother Roger Foster, also of CA; one sister-in-law, Ruth Hunsberger, of Sterling; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Marjorie Reuter; and three brothers, Norman, Edward, and Francis Foster. Visitation will be held Friday, April 25, 2014, from 5PM to 7PM at Schilling Funeral Home, in Sterling. Funeral Services will be Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 10 AM, also at the funeral home, with Reverend Richard Fassig, Pastor of Rock Falls United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be at Oak Knoll Cemetery, in Sterling, following the service. A memorial has been established. Condolences may be sent to schillingfuneralhome.com.
