STERLING-Caroline “Kay” Inboden, 87, went home to be with her Lord, December 29, 2020 at Heritage Health, Walnut. Caroline was born May 4, 1933 in Tampico, the daughter of Lou and Vera (Rasmussen) Beachler. She married Robert Inboden, Sr. on August 21, 1954 in Tampico. He preceded her in death on May 30, 2017. Survivors include two daughters, Debra (Stephen) Jacobs of Sterling and Polly (Joe) Campos of Rock Falls; two sons, Robert Inboden, Jr. of Easly, SC and Roger (Marla) Inboden of Sterling; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren with one on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Robert. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling with Pastor Wilmer Houck, of Coleta United Brethren Church, officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11 AM, prior to services. Masks and social distancing guidelines will be followed by allowing ten people in the building at a time. Burial will be at Fairfield Cemetery, New Bedford. Caroline helped her husband to establish the Helping Hands Food Pantry. She loved spending time with her family; “Grandma Kay was much loved and will be dearly missed”. A memorial has been established.
