DIXON- Catherine Carol Taylor, 89, of Dixon, died Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Hospice of the Rock River Valley, Sterling. Catherine was born August 8, 1931, the daughter of Antonio and Mary (Cone) Cornacchia. She married Charles W. Taylor. He preceded her in death on September 24, 2012. Grandma Kay loved us all. Survivors include two daughters, Danette Grande of Dixon and Dawn Smith of Green Bay, Wisconsin; one sister, Pauline Bass of Bassfield, Mississippi; six grandchildren, Brook Daily, Courtney Daily, Paul Daily, Nick Smith, Alisha Remedi, Krystal Remedi; ten great-grandchildren, Areana Nichols, Annelisa Morales, Alliyah, Kyra, Chamille, Lerell, Keylahn, Jahmir, Abbey and Paisley; four nieces, Adrienne, April, Joanne and Kimberly and three nephews, Jimmy, Wayne and Richard. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Josephine Marcus and Madeline and two brothers, John DalSanto, Frank Cornacchia. Funeral Service will be held at 12 PM Saturday June 12, 2021 at Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling with Reverend Robert Dunbar of St. James Church, Dixon. Visitation will be from 11AM-12PM prior to services at the funeral home. A memorial has been established. Condolences may be sent to www.schillingfuneralhome.com
