STERLING- Darrell Erickson, 75, died, Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Rock River Hospice and Home, Sterling. Darrell was born on November 28, 1942 in Moorhead, MN the son of Fritzof Erickson and Edna (Anderson) Palmer. He married Karen Folsom on August 26, 1995 in Sterling. Darrell was an avid Cubs and Vikings fan. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Tim (Amber) Erickson of Prophetstown, Darren (Marcia) Erickson of Bettendorf; two daughters, Lori Sandrock of Prophetstown, Liz (Clay) Reveal of Erie; two brothers, Richard (Barb) Erickson of Minnesota, Dennis Erickson of Rockford; one sister, Sandra (Blaine) McClellan of Sterling; thirteen grandchildren; one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews; and his dog Sassy. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Raymond Erickson; and one sister, Judith Ann Phoenix. Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, November 17th, 2018 at Abiding Word Church of Sterling with Pastor Scott Porter, officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11AM prior to the services at the church. A memorial has been established to Rock River Home and Hospice of Sterling.
