DAVID D. BRADLEY TAVARES, FL-David D. Bradley, 68, died Monday, February 16, 2009 at his residence. He was employed by Frantz/Wayne Dalton, as an assistant foreman for many years, prior to retirement. David was born September 15, 1940 in Shulsburg, WI. The son of Delbert and Hazel (Edge) Bradley. He served in the United States Navy. He married Melody Williams on September 15, 1980 in Sterling. She survives. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Sterling. Survivors also include, his father, Delbert Bradley of Sterling; three daughters, Lisa (John) Mitchell of Riverview, FL, Peggy (Mike) Byrnes of South FL and Hazel (Chris) Brichner of Plant City, FL; one son, Greg (Shirley) Bradley of Plant City, FL; three step-daughters, Susan (Heavy) Degner of Key West, FL, Sandra (Bud) Ellis of Phoenix, AZ and Melody (Jeff) Shirley of Dixon; two sisters, Linda Chouinard of Sterling and Arletta (Harry) Shuman of Rock Falls; twenty-one grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one great-grandson. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Monday, February 23, 2009, at the Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling. Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4 PM at the funeral home. A memorial has been established.
