STERLING- Debrah Ellen (Morris) Mitchell Camastro passed away at the Sherman Hospice Home, in Phoenix, Arizona, on Friday, February 5, 2021 with her loving family at her side. Debrah was born on April 24, 1959 to Harold and Doris (Bivin) Morris. She came into life with her twin brother Donald Morris, who survives. Debrah graduated in 1978 from Sterling High School, going on to have a successful career of 26 years with Commonwealth Edison. Debrah married James B. Mitchell on October 8, 1977 in Sterling, later marrying Carl L. Camastro on October 10, 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada, in Debrah’s truly spectacular manner. Debrah loved everything about life, but cherished spending time with her family and friends. There was never a dull moment with Deb around. Her quick wit and sense of humor, as well as her contagious laugh will forever warm the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to meet her. Debrah had many hobbies over the years, including karate, flight lessons, scuba diving, to list a few. She loved crafting in many aspects, whether it be quilting, embroidery, or doing her paintless diamond art, she was always meticulous when making beautiful things. She loved camping and cruising over the years with family and close friends. A few years ago, Debrah and Carl joined friends at Seven Eagles “Glampsite” in Savanna, Illinois, where they spent the summer months. They spent the winter months at their home in Lake Havasu City, AZ. Wherever Debrah went, new friends were left to remember her spark. Debrah is survived by her husband Carl; son, Michael Mitchell of Sterling; daughter, Jennifer (Derek) Ranken; the two loves of her life, her grandsons, Isaac and Macoy Ranken of Dixon; sister, Susan (Robert) Fischer of Rockford; brother, Rodney (Pam) Morris of South Carolina and her twin brother Donald (Leely) Morris of Lake Havasu City, AZ; several nieces, nephews, and friends she deeply cherished throughout her life.
