DELBERT N. BRADLEY STERLING- Mr. Delbert N. Bradley, 94, died Friday, November 2, 2012 at Coventry Living Center. Delbert Bradley served as Sterling Chief of Police for many years. Delbert N. Bradley was born on February 15, 1918 in Epworth, IA, the son of Nathan and Lillian (Boyes) Bradley. He married Hazel Edge on June 22, 1938 in Cascade, IA. She preceded him in death on January 17, 1995. Delbert was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Sterling. He is survived by two daughters, Arletta (Harry) Shuman and Linda Chouinard both of Sterling; two sisters, Viorene Huseman of Dubuque, IA and Evelyn (Justin) Edge of Lacon; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one son, David Bradley, one sister, Nadine Bartmann and two brothers, Irvin and Everet Bradley. Funeral services will be at 1PM Monday, November 5, 2012 at Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling. Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM Sunday at the funeral home. A memorial had been established. Condolences may be sent to www.schillingfuneralhome.com
