DONALD F. GOULD ROCK FALLS �" Donald F. Gould, 89, died Tuesday, February 2, 2010, at CGH Medical Center. Donald was born August 6, 1920 in Sterling, the son of Francis and Leona (Tompkins) Gould. He married Janet Cross on April 22, 1941 in Kirksville, MO. She preceded him in death on November 18, 2009. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Sterling. Survivors include one daughter, Barbara (Dennis) Schwenk, of Rock Falls; five sons, Donald (Lois) Gould, Jr. and Paul (Susan) Gould, both of Sterling, James (Mary) Gould and Robert Gould, both of Amboy, and Mark (Susan) Gould, of Rock Falls; one brother, Willard (Alice) Gould, of Albany; 18 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. Donald was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law Shirley Gould. Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, February 5, 2010 at First United Methodist Church, Sterling, with Reverend Paul Judd of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM, Thursday, February 4, 2010 at the Funeral Home. A memorial has been established.
