STERLING- Elizabeth “Betty” Bucher Wagner, 97, of Sterling, died Saturday May 18, 2019 at Parkway Center, in Sterling. Betty was born February 6, 1922 in Sterling, the daughter of Albert and Jennie (Finch) Scheler. She married Harvey Wagner on August 6, 1939 in Clinton IA. He preceded her in death on February 7, 1979. She then married Ward Bucher on February 6, 1993 in Sterling. He preceded her in death on December 14, 1997. Survivors include four sons Terry (Stephanie) Wagner of Pocatello ID, Richard (Ilene) Wagner of Sterling, Ronald (Dave) Wagner of Inkom ID, and Daniel (Debbie) Wagner of Chubbuck ID; ten Grandchildren; nineteen Great-Grandchildren; and two Great-Great-Grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son Harvey Wagner, and a Grandson Mark Wagner. Funeral services will be 11AM Tuesday May 21, 2019 at Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation, in Sterling, with Peg Williams, officiating. Visitation will be 10 AM Tuesday, one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will take place at Oak Knoll Memorial Park, in Sterling. A memorial has been established to Broadway United Methodist Church. Condolences may be sent to www.schillingfuneralhome.com
