ERNEST L. RAJNOWSKI STERLING- Ernest L. Rajnowski, 56, died, Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at CGH Medical Center. Ernest was the third of six children. Ernie loved to fish, watch the Bears, and feed the squirrels every morning, and just have a good time. He loved to ride around town on his three wheeled bicycle. Ernie would do anything he could for his family and friends. He had tremendous faith in his Savior, Jesus. Ernie suffered a traumatic brain injury in 1998 lived with his sister Tracy and his nephews, Stevie and Tanner after the accident. He was still able to do all the things he loved with the help of his sister. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Ernest was born November 27, 1956, the son of Ernest R. and Mary (Knapp) Rajnowski. He served in the United States Army. He was a member of First Open Bible Church, Rock Falls. Survivors include, his father, Ernest R. Rajnowski of Sterling, two daughters, Alison (Aaron) Goldsberry of CA and Amy (Seth) Couillard of Bloomington; one son, Jacob Rajnowski of CA; one sister, Teresa Dewitt of Sterling; three brothers, Richard (Nancy) Rajnowski of Sterling, Terrence Rajnowski of Como and Robert Rajnowski of Sterling; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary; his maternal and paternal grandparents; one brother; Timothy and his nephew, Ricky Rajnowski. Memorial services will be held at 2 PM Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the First Open Bible Church, Rock Falls with Reverend Les Funderberg, pastor, officiating. Cremation rites have been accorded. Visitation will be held from 1-2 PM, prior to services at the church. A memorial has been established. Condolences may be sent to schillingfuneralhome.com.
