Estella Paxton

STERLING- Estella K. Paxton, 68, of Sterling, died, Saturday, May 4, 2019 at CGH Medical Center of Sterling. Kay was born April 20, 1951 in Galesburg , the daughter of Russell and Lillian (Ferguson) Scott. She married Darrell Edwin Paxton on December 18, 1992 in Sterling. He preceded her in death on July 24, 2001. Survivors include one daughter, Angela (Jeff Roberts) Hammond of Clinton, IA; two sons, Darrell (Karen) Paxton of Manchester, IA and Scott (Shelly) Paxton of Clinton, IA; one sister, Beverly Paxton; three brothers, Larry Scott, Melvin Scott and Dennis Scott; thirteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Darrell; two sisters, Betty Hatfield and Carol Williams; one brother, Robert Scott; great granddaughter, Brooke King and great grandson, Raiden Englung. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Schilling Funeral Home and Cremation, Sterling with Reverend Burdetta Siefken officiating. Visitation will be from 10AM - 11 AM Thursday, prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be at Fairmount Cemetery, Polo. A memorial has been established.
