EVERETT ROY EBERSOLE STERLING- Everett Roy Ebersole, 92, died Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at CGH Medical Center. He farmed in the area for many years and then worked at Norwestern Steel & Wire Company. Everett was born December 16, 1916 in Sterling, the son of Roy and Ruth (Nice) Ebersole. He married Dorothy (Book) on November 21, 1939 in Penrose. She preceded him in death on April 28, 2009. He was a lifetime member of Science Ridge Mennonite Church in Sterling. Survivors include three daughters, Nancy (John) Ebersole, Marcia (Bruce) Jackson both of Sterling and Janice (Don) Calsyn of Greenfield, Mass; one son Verne (Marjorie) Ebersole of Middlebury, IN; three sisters, Miriam Shank of Sterling, Belva Robinson of Cave Junction, OR and Betty (Gene) Sutter of Cornville, AZ; four brothers, Charles (Joyce) Ebersole and Robert (Billie) Ebersole, both of Sterling, Eugene (Meraldine) Ebersole of Panama City, FL and Willard (Ellen) Ebersole of Wichita, KS; seventeen grandchildren and twenty-nine great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one granddaughter; a daughter and son in-law Sharon (Robert) Graybill; four sisters, Catherine Johnson, Anita Oberg, Pauline Dickhut and Gertrude Campbell and one brother, Russell Ebersole. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday December 12th at Science Ridge Mennonite Church, with Pastors Arnold Owens and Dan Rusmissel, co-officiating. Burial will be at Science Ridge Mennonite Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9-11 AM prior to services, at the church. A memorial has been established. Services were conducted by the Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling.
