GINGER G. JOHNSON SILVIS - Ginger G. Johnson, 63, of Sterling, died Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus in Silvis. She was a musician for St. Mary Catholic Church in Sterling. Ginger was born June 23, 1949 in De Kalb, the daughter of Robert and Vivian (Wolf) McMurry. She married Roger R. Johnson on June 23, 1973 in Sterling. Survivors include her husband, Roger; three daughters, Martha (Stephen Wilcox) Johnson and Anne (France Williams) Johnson of Guilford, CT and Adrienne Johnson of Tel Aviv, Israel; one son, Brian Johnson of Guilford, CT; and one brother, Robert (Debra) McMurry of Los Angeles, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents. Services will be held at 10 AM, Monday, April 29, 2013 at St. John's Lutheran Church with Reverend Mark Oehlert, officiating. Burial will be at the Oak Knoll Memorial Park, Sterling. Visitation will be from 2-4 pm, Sunday, April 28, 2013 at the Church. Arrangements were made by Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling.
