STERLING- Ida Ann Wink, of Sterling, died Monday, April 6, 2015, at CGH Medical Center. Ida was born on June 10, 1927, the daughter of Rudolph (Emma Schulz) Harms. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Sterling. She married James H. Wink on June 8, 1948, in Rock Falls. He preceded her in death on January 16, 2014. She passed away with faith, dignity, strength, and grace, which is exactly how she lived her life. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and close friends. She also enjoyed sewing, doing crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles. Survivors include four daughters, Christine Reed of Rockford, Mary K. (Mark) Bain of Washington; Suzanne (Doug) Patton of Novi, MI; Marsha (Reverend Dan) Fulmer of Charlevoix, MI; one son, Reverend Thomas (Linda) Wink of Hartland, WI; one sister June Soderquist of Sterling; two sisters-in-law Betty Harms and Rosemary Harms both of Sterling; twelve grandchildren, Shauna (Jason) Bartel, Jeffrey (Stephanie) Wink; Kathryn (Scott) Skonieczny, Abigail Reed, Travis Reed, Joseph Reed; Matthew (Jenny) Bain, Laura (Tom) Hagan; Amanda Patton, Ryan Patton; Kristen Fulmer, James Fulmer; eight great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and four brothers Quinten, Warren, Kenneth, and Marvin. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 10, 2015, at Messiah Lutheran Church in Sterling, at 11 AM, with the Reverend David Burge officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, April 9, at Schilling Funeral Home from 5 PM to 8 PM and also from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the service on Friday. Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park, Sterling.
