Irene Miller

Rock Falls- Irene A. Miller, 80, of Rock Falls died Saturday March 3, 2012. Irene was born October 10, 1931 in Rock Falls, the daughter of Harvey and Grace (Pardham) Anspach. She married Andy Paul Miller January 25, 1950 in Pochano AK. He preceded her in death on May 17, 1969. Survivors include five sons, Andy Paul (Cathy) Miller of Salem Oregon, Dirk Daniel Miller of Sterling, Kurt (Fran) Miller of Aurora, Lurk (Pat) Miller of Rock Falls, and Bruce Miller of Aurora; two daughters Jana (Rick) House, and Jill Miller both of Sterling; one sister Janice Larson of Colona; fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She also was preceded in death by one daughter Debra Miller; one Brother Ronald Anspach; three sisters Ida Engelkens; Mildred Cook, Shirley Witherow; and one grandson Nicholas Miller. The funeral is at 11AM Tuesday March 6, 2012 at Schilling Funeral Home in Sterling, Visitation is from 10-11AM Tuesday March 6, 2012 prior to the funeral. Cremation Rites, and burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to the Rock River Valley Hospice.
