Isaac Lair

Isaac D. Lair, 40, of Sterling, died Friday, February 14, 2014. Isaac was born September 2, 1973, in Sterling, to Douglas and Candice (Lawson) Lair. Survivors include his parents Candice Lair of Rock Falls and Douglas (Greta) Lair of Nova Scotia; grandmother, Elaine Sills; one daughter, Jillienne, of Dixon; one son, Harrison Lair, his loving partner Melissa Kinnaman, of Rock Falls; two aunts, Sharon Lawson, and Denise (John) McFadden, of Rock Falls; special friend, Douglas "Scrud" Shwank of Sterling and many cousins. He is preceded in death by one brother, Elijah Lair, maternal grandparents, and two uncles. Funeral Services will be held at Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling, on Thursday, February 20, 2014, at 12 PM, with Brent Sisson officiating. Visitation will be from 9 AM to 12 PM prior to the service, at the funeral home. A memorial has been established. Condolences may be sent to schillingfuneralhome.com.
