James Glenn

James W. Glenn Sterling- Mr. James W. Glenn, 79, died Monday, February 09, 2009 at Sterling Pavilion. Mr. Glenn owned and operated Jim's Auto Repair where he was an auto mechanic. James W. Glenn was born January 24, 1930 in Sterling, the son of James W. and Violet Cox Glenn. He married Dolores J. Kunde on April 5, 1953 at Messiah Lutheran Church. She preceded him in death on January 29, 2009. Mr. Glenn served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Rock Falls United Methodist Church. He is survived by two sons, Terry (Connie) Glenn of Sterling and Timothy (Kathleen) Glenn of South Elgin; and one sister, Shirley (Louis) Coulter of Rock Falls; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11AM Saturday February 14, 2009 at Schilling Funeral Home with the Reverend Thomas Moe pastor of Rock Falls United Methodist Church officiating, followed by full Military Services. Visitation will be from 9 AM to 11 AM. Cremations rites will be accorded. A Memorial has been established to Hospice of Rock River Valley.
