Edwin Lowder

Edwin “Joe” Lowder Jr., 84, of New Bedford, died Saturday April 30, 2022 at Resthave Nursing Home in Morrison. Joe was born July 25, 1937 the son of Edwin Lowder Sr. and Trena (Hartke) Lowder. He married Renate Apenborn on May 29, 1960 in Rock Falls. She preceded him in death on October 24, 2020.

Survivors include one daughter Sylvia Urban of New Bedford; one son Arthur Lowder of New Bedford; one brother August Lowder of Walnut; two granddaughters Heather (Tyler Binam) Urban, and Tiffany (Chris Pini) Urban.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, and one sister Dolly Schoaf.

Cremation rites have been entrusted to Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation.
