JOHN F. GOULD ROCK FALLS- Mr. John F. Gould, 85, died at Sterling Pavilion on Saturday, August 22, 2009. Mr. Gould was employed at International Harvester for fourteen years and was an electrician at Northwestern Steel & Wire Company for twenty four years before his retirement in 1986. John F. Gould was born May 18, 1924 in Sterling, the son of George and Ruby Smith Gould. John was a graduate of the Sterling High School class of 1942. He married Lorraine E. Lawrence on July 15, 1945 in Sterling. He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Sterling. Mr. Gould is survived by his wife Lorraine; one daughter, Marcia (Rodney) Aeschleman of Escondido, CA; one sister, Glenna Nufer of Russellville, AR; two brothers, Leslie (Linda) Gould of Ramona, CA and Kenneth (Karen Cowley) Gould of Sterling; one sister-in-law, Thoris Gould of Middleton, WI; four grandchildren, Sherri (Dave) Triplett, Stephanie Boucher, Nicole (Nabil Michraf) Aeschleman, and Tristan Aeschleman; and five great-grandchildren, Kayla and Shyanne Hoagland, Hunter and Raina Boucher, and Zayd Michraf. He was preceded in death by one son, Michael Gould on July 1, 2009; one grandson, Shane Gould; one brother Arland Gould, and one brother-in-law, Larry Nufer. Funeral services will be 11:30 AM Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at the Schilling Funeral Home with Reverend Michael Green officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10-11:30 AM Wednesday at the funeral home.
