JOHN E. PARVIN STERLING - John E. Parvin, 40, died Monday, June 4, 2012. He was employed by Sterling Commercial Roofing Company. John was born April 11, 1972 in Sterling, the son of Raymond Allen and Helen Sue (Lauff) Parvin. Survivors include his wife, Jenny Fortune; three daughters, Deidra, Tara and Johnna Parvin; one son, Jake Parvin; one sister, Kelly (Ali) Touiri of Sterling; three brothers, Bill (Theresa) Parvin of Rock Falls, Tom and Dennis Parvin, both of Sterling; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister, Theresa Parvin and his parents. Services will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the Schilling Funeral Home in Sterling, with the Reverend Louis Tosto, of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in Polo, officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM, Friday, June 8, 2012 at the funeral home. A memorial has been established. Condolences may be sent to www.schillingfuneralhome.com.
