JON STANLEY Grand Detour-Jon Stanley, 57, of Grand Detour, died Sunday, April 28, 2019 at St. Anthony Medical Center, Rockford. He was born August 31, 1961 in Sterling the son of Robert and V. Kathryn (Fudurich) Stanley. Jon enjoyed riding his Victory Motorcycle, was an avid fisherman that included life on the river, and working on anything mechanical. Jon loved his two sons and their families. Survivors include two sons, Conan (Tracy) Stanley and their pending third child, of Thomson, and Adam (Gina Silvius) Stanley of Milledgeville; three brothers Chris Stanley of Coleta, Doug Stanley of Sterling, and Mark (Dianna Snapp) Stanley of Coleta; three granddaughters Kehley Stanley, Ellie Stanley, and Letty Stanley; and a special friend Kimberly Biehl of Portage WI. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 10AM Saturday May 4, 2019 at Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation, with Dalmus Meeks officiating. Burial will take place at Genesee Grove Central Cemetery in Coleta. Visitation will be from 5PM-8PM Friday May 3, 2019 at Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation, Stering. A memorial has been established.
