Judi Henard

Sterling- Judi A. Henard, of Sterling, died March 6, 2021 at Rock River Hospice and Home of Sterling. Judi was born February 12, 1931 in Indianapolis, IN, the daughter of John Franklin and Gwendolyn (Ullom) Bonnewitz. Judi knew how to light up a room with her personality and was a friend to many. She enjoyed shopping, decorating and playing bridge. Her family will remember her as a fighter who faced adversity and came out on top as a survivor. She embraced life by doing things her way. Survivors include three daughters, Sue Frost of St. John, IN, Shelley (Mark) Doyle of Golden, CO, Heidi Wendl of Davenport, IA; one son, Jeff (Robin) Henard of Sterling; nine grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marilyn Bonnewitz Ramsey; son-in-law, Terry Wendl. Services will be held at 12PM on March 10, 2021 at Schilling Funeral Home and Cremation of Sterling with Mark Doyle, officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services from 11AM-12PM at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Oak Knoll Memorial Park of Sterling. Our family would like to express sincere appreciation and gratitude to the tender loving care given to Judi in her final weeks of life.
