June Adams

June Adams, 92, of Sterling died Sunday December 20, 2015 at Heritage Woods, Sterling. June was born on May 31, 1923 in Rockfalls, the daughter of Charles and Ethel (Orr) Reese. June married John Adams on February 1, 1946 in Chicago, he preceded her in death in August of 1994. Survivors include one daughter, Julie (David) Mauldin of Morrison; three sons Steven (Bonnie) Adams of Geneseo, Michael (Sherry) Adams of California and Mark (Polly) Adams of Sterling; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. June was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one infant daughter Susan and one sister Helen Reese Schwartz. Graveside services for June will be held on Monday December 28, 2015 at Oak Knoll Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. A memorial has been established to First Christian Church.
