JUNE GRACE DIEHL MILLEDGEVILLE - June Grace Diehl, 91, died Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Good Samaritan Society in Mt. Carroll. She was the librarian for Wysox Township Library in Milledgeville for over 30 years. June was born January 21, 1921 in Rock Falls, the daughter of Earl Raymond and Stella Clair (Kauffman) Fee. She married Elwood C. Diehl on January 31, 1947 in Sterling. He preceded her in death on December 25, 1998. June was a member of Dutchtown Church of the Brethren in Milledgeville. Elwood and June owned and operated Diehl's Popcorn Wagon at the Carroll County Fair for over 40 years. Survivors include one daughter, Audrey Selman, of Milledgeville; one daughter-in-law, Lola Diehl, of Milledgeville; two sisters, Lois Jacobs and Connie (Jim) Anderson, both of Rock Falls; two brothers, Ronnie Fee, of Rock Falls, and Tom Fee, of OR; six grandchildren, Jamie (Tami) Diehl, Jeremy Diehl, Cory Diehl, Lynn Selman, Chad (Kelsey) Selman and Barbara (Kyle) Shenefelt; and ten great-grandchildren, Toby, Zach, Tyler, Carson, Ethan and Hailey Diehl, Jordan and Treyton Selman, Connor Woodin and Rylan Shenefelt. She was also preceded in death by her son, Donovan Diehl; and a sister, Lillian Ferguson. Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Dutchtown Church of the Brethren with Reverend Rick Koch, officiating. Burial will be at the South Elkhorn Cemetery, Milledgeville. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm, Monday, May 28, 2012 at the Church. A memorial has been established to the Wysox Township Library, Dutchtown Church of the Brethren or Milledgeville Fire Department.
