LELAND "Lee" A. DRYNAN STERLING - Leland "Lee" A. Drynan, 65, died Thursday, November 6, 2008 at Coventry Living Center. Lee was a veteran of the Vietnam War, and he was employed by National Manufactuing for over 25 years. Lee was born May 30, 1943 in Normal, the son of Fay and Edith (Geldean) Drynan. He married Katherine Klocke Drynan on August 23, 1969 in Sterling. She preceeded him in death on January 5, 2007. Survivors include one sister, Betty Witmer of Polo; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Joyce A. Hippert and Ina Rae Onnen; two nieces, Diane Unger Rosenberg and Deborah Grobe. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Monday, November 10, 2008 at the Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling, with Father David Rude, pastor of Grace Episcopal Church, Sterling, officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Sterling. Visitation will be Sunday, from 4-6 P.M. at the funeral home. A memorial has been estatblished.
