LOUISE CLAYBERG YEMM STERLING- Louise Clayberg Yemm, 84, died Thursday, August 23, 2012 at her residence with her family in attendance. Louise was born July 3, 1928 in Cuba, Illinois, the daughter of Donald and Dorothea (Donaldson) Clayberg. She married William B. Yemm on June 3, 1951 in Cuba, IL. He preceded her in death on July 6, 2005. Louise was a graduate of Illinois State University, Normal. She was a music teacher in the Orion School District, sang in the choir and was a choir director at various times at the First Presbyterian Church, Sterling, she was a member of the Sterling PEO, Garden Club, served on the AFS Board, and the Sterling Library Board. Her life passion was her family, especially her relationships with her 15 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Survivors include one daughter, Kristyn (Tim) Pemrick of Elgin; four sons, Stephen J. (Shannon) Yemm, M.D., of Ft. Collins, CO, William D. and (Julie) Yemm, D.D.S., of Sterling, , Gregory C. (Jenny) Yemm of Overland Park, Ks. and Robert S. (Susan) Yemm, M.S. of Denver, CO; one sister Eunice Foster of Morton; one brother, Donald (Nancy) Clayberg of Sycamore; fifteen grandchildren, Kathryn (Brandon) Cutter, Riley Yemm, Erin (Jade) Mercer, Matthew Yemm, Elizabeth (Christopher) Coon, Paul (Katrina) Yemm, Christina Yemm, Stephen Yemm, Allison Yemm, Andrew (Kate) Yemm, Abigail Yemm, Peter Yemm, Charles Yemm, Kristy Yemm and Kelly Pemrick and two great-grandchildren, Ella Jane Cutter and William Bear Yemm. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM on Sunday, August, 26, 2012 at First Presbyterian Church, Sterling, with the Reverend Christina Berry, pastor, officiating. Graveside services will be held at 10 AM Monday, August 27, 2012 at Cuba Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-3 PM Sunday, prior to services at the church. A memorial has been established to the William B. and Louise C. Yemm Scholarship Fund. Arrangements were completed by the Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling.
