STERLING-Lucretia W. Little, 81, died Thursday, September 29, 2016 at CGH Medical Center. Lucretia was born October 30, 1934 in Dennison, IA, the daughter of Frank and Irene (Burmeister) Gary. She married Donald Little on September 21, 1952 in Rock Falls. Survivors include her husband, Donald; two daughters, Chris Shelley of Sterling and Amy (Bryan) Blackburn of Sterling; one son, Tim (Carrie) Little of Coleta; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Hinton, Allen (Miranda) Shelley, Mike (Rachel) Little, Sarah (Eric) Vandersnick, Emily ( Kendall) Carr, Megan Blackburn and Andrew Blackburn and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Phyllis Albert, Hollis Larson and Zola Henderson and three brothers, Frank, Neil and Dale Gary. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, October 3, 2016 at the Schilling Funeral Home and Cremation, Sterling with the Reverend Jeff Coester, pastor of The Big Red Church, Sterling. Cremation rites have been accorded. Visitation will be from 9:30AM – 10:30AM, prior to services at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to American Heart Association.
