MARGARET M. ATHERTON DIXON- Margaret M. Atherton, 35, died Friday, September 11, 2009 at her residence. Margaret was born July 27, 1974 in Sterling. The daughter of James E. (Paulette) Finn, Jr. She married Ryan Atherton on June 21, 2003 in Dixon. Survivors include her husband, Ryan of Dixon; three daughters Hailey, Hannah, and Madison at home; one son Andrew Atherton of TN her parents James (Paulette) Finn of Sterling; two brothers Sean P. (Candy) Finn of Sterling and James E. Finn III of Rock Falls; in-laws Bruce (Patti) Atherton of Walnut and maternal grandmother, Alice Highsmith of MO. She was preceded in death by one sister, Rebecca Craig and maternal grandfather, Eugene Fikter; and paternal grandparents James E. (Margaret) Finn. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at the First Church of the Nazarene, Sterling, with the Reverend John Trotter, pastor of Living Well Church of the Nazarene. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Sterling. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Tuesday, at the Schilling Funeral Home 702 First Avenue Sterling.
