Margaret Youngdahl

MARGARET J. YOUNGDAHL STERLING, Margaret J. Youngdahl, 90, formerly of Sterling, died, Monday June 1, 2009 at Montrose Health Center, Montrose, IA. Margaret was born August 20, 1918 in Argyle, MN. She married Carl Youngdahl on April 14, 1943 in Argyle, MN. He preceded her in death on November 17, 1976. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Sterling. Survivors include, two sons, Merlyn (Janet) Johnson of Centerville, IA and Wayne (Doris) Youngdahl of Hendersonville, NC; seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by several sisters and brothers. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, June 5, 2009 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Sterling with the Reverend Donald M. Ahles, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Thursday at the Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling. Condolences may be sent to schillingfuneralhome.com.
