Nell Eash

Nell J. Eash, 83, of Franklin Grove passed away Tuesday September 13, 2022 at Rock River Hospice & Home in Sterling, surrounded by family. Nell was born April 21, 1939 in Cincinnati OH, the daughter of Russell and Elizabeth (Prebble) Meyers.

Nell loved spending time with family, thrift shopping, taking care of her pet Dodger, and was always a very happy person. She loved her job, and retired from Kishwaukee Community Hospital after 26 years, as a Sterile Processing Technician. Nell has since enjoyed her retirement.

Survivors include two daughters Regina Lawton of Franklin Grove, and Carma Gordon of Wakulla Florida; one sister Barbara (David) Barber of Davis Junction; nine grandchildren, and twenty nine plus great and great-great grandchildren.

Nell was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Ted Sludder.

Cremation rites have been accorded, and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
