Nellie M. Stewart, 99, died Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Franklin Grove Nursing Home. Nellie was born November 15, 1918 in Emerson. The daughter of John L. and Bessie (Stanley) Deets. She married Myrl on October 30, 1937 in Coleta. He preceded her in death on July 26, 2002. Survivors include two daughters, Linda (Keith) McCall of North Richland Hills, TX and Mary (Stan) Bradshaw of St. Anthony, ID; two sons, Dave (Barb) Stewart of Rochelle and Ronald (Connie) Stewart of Tulsa, OK; one sister, Bessie Perkins of Michigan; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Myrl; four sisters and five brothers. Funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Schilling Funeral Home & Cremation, Sterling with Dalmus Meeks, officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11AM Saturday, prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park, Sterling. A memorial has been established.
