Norma Gaumer

NORMA L. GAUMER ROCK FALLS-Norma L. Gaumer, 81, died, Monday, April 29, 2013 at Sterling Pavilion. She was a church pianist at Como Baptist Church. Norma was born March 31, 1932 in Benton, the daughter of Cecil and Ethel (Runnels) Sanders. She married Gene Gaumer on May 23, 1982 in Sterling. Survivors include her husband, Gene; one daughter, Jeanne (Randy) Meeks of Sterling; Step daughter, Julie (Hal) Lennon of Freeport; one step-son, Timothy (Mary) Gaumer of Oakland, CA; one sister-in-law, Elinor Sanders of Sterling; four grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Sanders. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at the Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling, with the Pastor Tommie McMurtry II, of Liberty Baptist Church, Rock Falls, officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Sterling. Visitation will be from 9-10:15 AM, prior to services. A memorial has been established. Condolences may be sent to schillingfuneralhome.com.
